During my time doing CAS, I’ve done two major projects. One of which was the CEPIA website, which I finished at the end of my junior year. The second is still in the beginning phases, so I currently am not wrapping up any of my projects. However, I think that my projects are completely different, apart from the obvious way in which one will be a physical building, and the other a website. I think they are different because one will be an obvious thing that I leave behind at La Paz, which whenever someone sees and is aware of my involvement in this project will remember me, whereas the website is a much subtler project in which my involvement is not immediately obvious, and those who it is targeted towards will not know of me. Despite this, I think they are both extremely important, and contributions that I can reference in my college applications that will definitely boost my application. The experience I’ve gained and will gain from these is extremely valuable, and if I need a website, I already have a basis on which I can build off of. Similarly, woodworking will most likely always remain a passion of mine, and if I choose to build a shop for myself, the experience I am getting from building one now will be extremely valuable as well.
