RESTRUCTURING

This week I was reflecting on the reality and the truth about the need, and quality of my investment club. I had been thinking about this for a while, was my club really making the change I wanted to make. I had a small group but they really didn't seem too interested or engaged to learn more. So what did I need to do to make my project more attractive. I had always thought about having experts in my community come talk and create conventions that are fun, long, and frequent. Such as lectures from experts, or random budgeting games that different classes could do. I realized that this was the most effective to run my project. And to have something to do weekly I could run simple math tutoring lessons every week. This seemed like the best of both worlds as I would be able to have classes that were refined and helpful to the general public and didn't depend on my limited knowledge but I could still have something to do weekly through tutoring. To get this started I first emailed my first possible speaker Duncan Simmons and made a flyer for the tutoring. and will start next week. I hope this will allow me to create a better impact on my community. I am really excited about this as it allows me to also learn more and reinforce what I already know. This reflection and process were helpful in the improvement of my ability to undertake challenges, understand the benefits of working collaboratively, and show commitment and perseverance.
