Risk Management
This table was a great way to exemplify the risks that are involved in my project. This first risk of the budgeting conference becoming a super spreader event for COVID-19 is a huge risk. This is a situation that is the most out of my own control. And for this the 7th learning outcome of CAS recognizing and considering the ethics of choices and actions. When planning this conference I need to be flexible and consider if it is ethical to have it take place in a global-pandemic, and if I am putting people's lives at risk. To avoid this it would require a significant amount of planning and communication with the operations team at La Paz to insure I am not putting people at risk. The next four probability of occurring is all dependent on the dedication and perseverance I put into my project. Attendance to my classes are all dependent on my ability to market my class, my understanding of subjects are all dependent on my dedication to teaching myself, finding a budgeting expert is all dependent on my constant search across the country, and diversifying my content is all dependent on my diversification of classes. All of these will test my ability to show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences. Therefore for my budgeting conference, I need to work hard and consider the ethics of it taking place and be able to accept that it may not happen, while the rest will be avoided as a motivating myself by understanding that failure is not an option and if I don't put the work in it will fail. This will be prioritized as I am depending on my CAS project to glorify my college applications, so more is on the line.
