Update: School kids Saving Mowanas
School kids Saving Mowanas
Eager children have spent days with Teddy, in the bush surrounding the cattle post, learning of this safe ecological way to support their Mowana trees and the Elephants. They are seeing, first hand, that Elephants don't need to be put at risk of injury and death from the metal spikes and snare wires currently used by their communities to protect the Mowanas. Learning and applying this technique for themselves empowers them to support their ecosystem sustainably and share this knowledge with their families and community.
