Today, as a class, we helped some classmates with their CAS projects. We went on a field trip to a town close to our school and we cleaned the town and planted some trees at the beach. We received a talk from the assembly of the town about the importance of having trees at the beach and their gratitude towards us because of our dedication and support.
We were divided into 3 different groups. One would be dedicated to plant trees, the other one group would clean the beach and the other would clean the town. I was in the group incharge of cleaning the town. It was nice to help the community I used to live in. There was a lot of garbage in the soccer field. Which, I guess, It was why people were not using the field. Once we cleaned it, we saw people getting together and started playing. I think it is kind of sad that there aren’t people in the community that would clean their own community, but at least we helped.
