Now the good part of my break!!!!! The trip!!! The trip was amazing in very way. Although we had to take 3 different airplanes and didn’t get there till 2 am we still had a fun time travelling together. The funniest part of that day was driving at 3am to find a mcdonalds because everyone was so hungry. Everyday was amazing, the first day we got there we went downtown to see the science museum and then spend time at the mall! The second day we went to school for half a day and then we went to do the Harvard tour with Abby and her former student. This was the coolest thing ever!! We very surrounded by the smartest people ever. This day we also learned about the protest some students had and then after that we walked around cambridge to learn about history and more!! We stopped to play with the snow but not for long since it was freezing cold. Ashley, Nayeli and I then went to Abby’s house and had a wonderful time there. Her house is beautiful! We then drove to Gabby’s house where we had dinner and celebrated her birthday. That same night we watched a movie and then went to a scape room which was soooooo freaking cool! We finished it all 4 minute before the time finished. After that we came back to gabby’s house and then drove home. The next day, we went to school for the entire day and then after school we went to Faneuil Hall. We went around to different shops and then took some cute photos in front of the huge christmas tree. The following day Miss. Amy was gone and we had to figure everything out alone Ashley and I. This was a challenge but it was worth it because we were in charge and had to take care of ourselves. The T was easy to figure out we did this the night before. First we went to the Skywalk observatory and hard lunch at ana’s taqueria which was excellent. We then stayed at the mall shopping and then grabbed another T to the frog pond where we Ice skated. Then we went bowling at night the exchange students that are coming in February and after bolling we went for bubble tea which was so much fun!!! Then we went back home and had dinner with our families. It was my first time ice skating and I was soo good at it jajaj I don’t know why though. The next day was challenging because the T wasn’t available. We were so bummed about it because when we had to figure out how to get to the aquarium. Then e took the bus but the bus left us somewhere in kenmore so we had to walk soo much to get to the next T station which also wasn’t available. We then asked a couple people for another station and e finally found it. Then re able to get to the aquarium which was so much fun! After it we had lunch at mcdonalds and explored the city a bit more. Then we went home and had a soccer game gringos vs ticos!!! Probably one of my favorite activities and then we all went home to have the last dinner with our families. Overall I can’t be me happy and proud of Ashley and I for putting this off! I learned and had so much fun! Met some great new people that I know will become my close friends. I loved my host family, they were so warm and nice to me. I loved public transportation and loved the city! I loved the snow sooooooooooooooooo much, and I couldn't have had a better time. But most of all, I loved that Nayeli got to experience this and had the best time of her life too! At the end of the trip she still couldn't believe it and she was so happy that she had the opportunity to travel to the USA. My favorite part of the trip probably was the snow, the night before I was very anxious for it. That morning when I woke up I was so happy I cried I went downstairs and see it falling. I love it and it was even better than I imagined it.
