Service – helping a bird recover – Emerson

I recently had the wonderful experience of being able to help an injured bird recuperate and live to fly another day. The bird had flown into my window and I got to him in time before one of my dogs went to eat him. I put him in a safe place and got him some water to keep him hydrated. Luckily he wasn't hurt too bad and he eventually flew off. This relates to an issue of global importance which is wildlife conservation, in this case I was able to save the local wildlife.
