Show and Tell Entry

It is difficult to show this visually, but what I’m doing to keep moving forward is taking breaks and not rushing through things. I’ve had a high amount of school work this week apart from attending classes and it is very exhausting to finish 7 hours of school to continue working on homework and projects. This is why taking small breaks and going slowly really helps me finish everything effectively and in a less stressful way. I continues moving forward with my CAS project this week by planning out the ideas I brainstormed in the previous journal entry. I planned how I would start the reusing project in the following weeks, and how the marketing unit in business class will help me to market the remote clean-up for November. It is more challenging to continue with CAS during this time, but my project can adapt with the different ideas I’ve had. It is definitely harder to attend online classes than normal classes, but an opportunity it gives me is to take breaks to feel less stressed or overwhelmed. For example, if we have work time in a class, I can take my time working and take small breaks every once in a while, such as just walking around the house helps me focus more when I get back to work. The biggest threat are distractions. It is much easier to get distracted from a computer screen than from a whiteboard or a normal class. Something I’ve done to reduce this is trying to get rid of distraction such as putting my phone away from me or closing curtains to prevent distractions from outside. Another helpful thing is washing my face in the transition periods, especially in the last classes to prevent feeling tired and it helps me focus better.
