Show and Tell Journal Entry

In this project so far we have gone through several ideas and concepts of how to integrate dance back to the community. We have met and communicated with our mentor several times throughout this project and she has been a great help ato our final idea. We are now each choreographing a piece for the December recital and in turn helping her plan the recital. We have created emails to communicate with the parents of the kids we want to use in our dance numbers and already started choreographing the trio the three of us will be doing. For evidence I have chosen to show some notes of the plans we made with our mentor in one of our meetings but you can also check out our progress with the trio in some of my other journal entries. ​​Where are you in comparison to your Gantt Chart? Are you on track? Was there anything added that you forgot about? You may have noticed that none of my previous journal entries pertain to the gantt chart. This is because I am not in a higher level business so I did not learn about them. But I did contribute the gantt chart my teammates made which you can see on their wonderment page. Our gantt chart right now needs to be slightly altered since we switched gears with our project but we are working out how to make it work with our new plan. Are you behind and why? Yes and No for different reasons. One reason we are ahead is because we passed our deadline of a show up to december so in some ways we have fast tracked our project and are ahead. Currently we are on track with what needs to be done for the recital but me and Alexa really have to start our groups soon or we will be behighned. In some ways just helping Gaby simplified our project so it is just the beginning of how we will integrate dance in our community, a way to learn what we are capable of to then expand our skills to do greater projects in the future. And what are you proud of? I am proud of our communication skills with our mentor. But also with the progress of our choreography that we are all collaborating on together. ​​What could have been done better? Talk about that and talk about how you can change your tactics in future. Something that could have been improved is our agenda or gantt chart to have everything more precisely planned out instead of just going with the flow, which we are currently doing.
