Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

Currently, my CAS project is about waiting/advertising. I have planned my project and am executing it project although I am missing one key component of my project, people. In the past, I saw my project benefit Luca and my sister I saw them improve in their mathematical thinking across my help projects and it made me feel great. It felt great to be a part of something large as I was helping them prepare for the largest math exams of their lives. Although that was in the past and now I have been faced with the challenge of waiting for people to identify their own challenges with math when they have nothing large ahead of them. This is extremely hard as people who need it the most normally don’t want to do math after school for an hour. This has been my greatest challenge this trimester. Although in searching for my solution I realized the importance and success of bringing teachers/parents into the problem and holding their children accountable. Hopefully, I will reach the rewards this week but we shall see. This challenge showed me firstly how lucky I was last year with the demographic given to me. But also made me realize the importance of communication and collaboration in a CAS project as they will help you reach your own goal but also hold you accountable to the success of your project.  Overall this part of the project has been hard but I have never wanted to give up but at sometimes it is hard and maybe my effort will be lower as I love working ubiquitously working as hard as my teachers but in this situation being the teacher and receiving no reward or recompensation for my work is hard to keep going; therefore I sometimes don’t work as hard as I maybe should.
