Starting the dress

I have my fabric which means I've got all my supplies ready. I am going to start measuring and cutting out the pattern pieces on Wednesday. One challenge that I'll have to overcome pretty soon is choosing what color thread to use, I don't have enough pink for the whole dress so I might have to switch it out for red or white unless I get the chance to go to a fabric store before then. One thing I learned is to make sure you have everything you need before starting your project because now I have to figure out what thread to use. One thing I'm glad I took into consideration is the amount of fabric I got, I made sure to get more than I did with my previous dress because I wanted to make one or two more skirt panels to make it more flowy.
