Starting the Skirt

This week I cut out pieces for the skirt and bodice. I had to got o the fabric store and get thread and some fabric lining and this week I’ll be focusing on the bodice since I am almost done with the skirt. I made all the panels and sewed them together, I also gathered all the fabric at the waist to form ruffles. All that is left of the skirt is the waist band, zipper and sewing the hem. I am super excited that this is all going really well so far. and Next week I will have hopefully finished cutting out the lining for the bodice.
