Summer JE #3

We have now given all of the donations to some part of the Brasilito Community. Throughout the process of collecting donations and giving them out, we took pictures for evidence, with these pictures we decided to make a video of the progress that we had and it was a success. In the video, we were are able to capture the emotions of members of the community that were getting benefits from our donations, the emotions expressed from them was their joy because of how grateful because they were getting some items that they needed such as clothing and toys. From the side of us two we feel happiness of the amazing work we are doing for the community specially for the kids and that now they feel they are getting more attention towards the fact that they are not still abandoned and there is a chance for them to grow and find success. As well, we organized a little afternoon coffee meeting at my house with Tatiana, which is one of the moms from the town that we are specifically helping. It was a fun afternoon where we got to talk with her and get to know her situation better. She told us about her job which was making food and selling it around the town. She mentioned how she was really happy with the food donation because she was able to make some of the foods to help her have some money for her children. We heard from her that she didn't have a refrigerator which made her food go bad very quickly, this is one of her biggest struggles because she normally uses a colter to keep her food. It was a fun afternoon and we got to learn more about her and her living conditions during this pandemic.
