To make sure this project keeps going after I move on and leave La Paz, I can keep working on it after graduating and before leaving for college. Depending on where I go to college, if I stay in Costa Rica, I will most likely be coming home for weekends or breaks, so I can continue watching out for the mangrove, making sure the river mouth stays open, collecting seeds and planting. If I don’t stay in the country, I will come in and present to 9th or 10th graders about the project so I can find candidates who are willing to continue the project. If none of them live near the project or are interested, ConnectOcean is willing to continue it as part of their mangrove exploration investigation and curriculum.
