Today in class we were given the assignment to read an article about how to gain momentum. their were multiple points and ideas to gain that momentum.
The one that stood out the most for me was forget about your purpose. I have been thinking to much into the future within the past year, what am i going to study, where, and why. my plan during my years at my university. but i have to put that aside and start thinking what do i have to do within the coming days, do i have assignments, is there something important coming up. I have to start thinking about today and the coming days more than the coming years.
Another one that really shouted to me was schedule every minute of your day. this is something that i wanted to do for some time, yet i never had the initiative to do it. now that i think more into it, having a schedule of what i do during the day and what time should be focused on school and other being free time.
The last one i focused on was stop taking advice from people who have accomplished less than you. although I already dont consider advice from people around me unless i know that person has done something in a correct manner and they are probably the most qualified to give that advice, I dont listen to what people advice me to do. I know who i look up to and who i can get the best advice from, some of these people are family members and some are close friends or acuantances.

Great journal entry Brian. Can you post one of the schedules that you make for yourself in your next journal entry so that I can see that you are making that schedule?
I also agree with the idea of living here in this moment and doing the best you can right now. The schedule will help with that. Your goals are high but each step counts. You can do it!
