Taking on new challenges. Challenges come up in every single project, competition, or piece of work you will ever do. Every day I face challenges. No matter where you are in life or what you end up doing it is assured there will be challenges to face. So far in my CAS project there have been many challenges but also so many successes. After all, Feria is starting next week!! I am so excited. But a big challenge for me specifically has been managing my time outside of the classroom. A CAS project can become so much, and take up so much time if you let it, because there is always more to be done. I am always receiving text messages, emails and requests from people. This has been a little overwhelming, because I feel like I can never catch up. I have learned to take care of these things only when I can, and not let it affect the work I do for other classes. When there is something urgent to respond to, I will, but when it is something that can wait until after school that is usually the best time. This challenge of always having more to do, is actually super exciting. It means my project is strong, and that I have work ahead of me. One of my biggest strengths is my organization abilities, and I believe that through this project they have only improved. My ability to set out my tasks, and check them off one by one, has been super beneficial to staying on track and not letting myself get too overwhelmed.
