Teaching Dance

One service activity I did this vacation was helping my studio teach some classes while we wait for our new teacher to come. I taught three days a week and it included a mix of jazz technique, ballet, tap, hip hop, and contemporary to the minis and juniors. This is one contemporary dance I made and taught. I used learning outcome 3 and 4 of CAS by initiating a plan for each different class. Also by showing perseverance and commitment throughout the week by still taking classes, helping out as much as possible and even arriving early to prepare. One trait from the IB learner profile that I used was caring because my teacher and the owner of my studio really needed help these two weeks and I was able to help her out while learning something new.
