Terraza Bingo Night- Cata Gdvc

13/09/2019 Bingo Night Today at 6:00 pm a Bingo planned by Terraza took place. Instead of doing it at Terraza, we decided to take over the monthly bingos organized by Surf Rider and instead do a fundraiser for Terraza. The turn out was really good because a lot of people showed up! The prizes recollected for the Bingo were pretty unique and we are really grateful that we got a lot of amazing donations from locals shops. During the Bingo, we had some challenges because a lot of people were criticizing the way we were managing things and the paste of the Bingo rounds. From that, we learned that in many events we are not going to be able to satisfy the needs of everyone and that there is always a first time for everything. As a group, I feel that during the event, we were having fun and getting to know each member of the team better. I think that this was super important because I didn't feel as confident as I feel now because I didn't really know the two other girls from the grade above. From the event, we were able to fundraise more than 500 dollars and spread our word about what Terraza is and what objective we are trying to achieve. Overall, this was an extraordinary experience because I love Bingos and being able to plan one really shaped my perspective about all the work that has to get done in order for a Bingo to be successful. I am looking forward to getting to meet my teammates and to create a stronger bond that will allow trust and confidence within us. Identify strengths and areas for growth, challenges were undertaken showing that new skills are learned, work collaboratively with others, plan and initiate a new activity.
