The evolution of my CAS project

As I went through the wonderment I contemplated the entirety of the evolution of my CAS project, ever since I first started thinking about it. The first memories that I have of CAS are when the skatepark was installed in Arenal when I was in 5th grade. As they told us about CAS I started thinking about what I wanted to do. At the time we would play football during lunch and recess and was something that I really enjoyed, therefore I was thinking about doing that for CAS. I thought about that for years but then as IB approached I was more interested in surfing and I hadn't played football in years. This leads to my initial idea of the resurrection of club blue. Sadly I became discouraged to do this as many classmates had the same idea (even though they are no longer here). Then I started developing my idea of the investment club, it was something simple to do online and I was presented with the great opportunity of the Wharton Global Youth program. Although as this project evolved in my head I had a greater desire to impact a larger community in need. Sadly as the pandemic continued to plague Costa Rica I felt that my goal was impossible and started focusing more on my backup plan, the math club. This current project is great for the conditions of the world and has allowed me to actually do something for CAS. For me, my CAS journey can demonstrate my shift in interest and passions at a certain point in time. I have learned valuable lessons on perseverance, dedication, and adaptability throughout my unique CAS project. I feel my motivation has really come from the autonomy, mastery, and purpose that we create for ourselves within CAS as it would be created for us in an organization under Daniel Pink's theory of motivation.
