The Future is Bright!

For this project I am envisioning a team effort from Hunter, Alexa, and myself to be able to provide dance classes and dance scholarships for kids who don’t have access to dance. We want to be able to collaborate with Elevate, a local dance studio, and CEPIA, a local non profit organization, and their extracurricular program. We can take a select amount of kids to teach them classes for free and those that show more interest provide them scholarships to the studio. We will also help out by providing workout clothes and figuring out transportation. This will benefit kids in my community that have a passion for dance and the arts and do not have access to them. Dance is so important to me and I don’t know what I would do without it. It gives me a space to express myself and create, and I think everybody should have the opportunity to feel that and follow their passions. I will learn how to collaborate with team mates and collaborate with various organizations. I will learn how to work with kids and teach. I will learn perseverance and commitment in working on a project larger than myself. I will learn communication skills and collaboration with others. I will be smarter and stronger and more ready to take on any challenges in the future.
