The Future is Bright

Plans and expectations:

My plan is to make a tennis tournament in the Mar Vista court for everyone in the community, I plan to use the money invested from this to help the animal shelter, and for kids who want to play this sport but don’t have the resources (kind of like a scholarship). My expectation is that this tournament happens close to the summer and I might do more than one so I can involve different age ranges.

What are the goals? How will you change the community around you?

My goal is to create an ambience where people can play tennis, have fun and socialize. I want this not only fun but to use the money earned for a good purpose and also help other kids and animals. I will help the community come together during these hard times (but with protocol) and bring joy and spirit also.

Why is this important  to you? What about you will change and  develop?

This is important to me because it’s a sport that I’ve been really enjoying lately and I also would like to help animals in some way, also kids who don’t have the resources, and want to play tennis. I will earn new skills through this process and learn how to organize this type of events.

How  can you convince a university or job experience that comes after high school that you are a good fit for their organization?

I will convince them by showing my experiences from CAS but mainly the skills that I’ve gotten, or things that I’ve learned. Also my strengths, and how all of these would be useful for the job or university.

What you would like to see as the outcome of this experience?

I would like to have the money and resources for the animal shelter, and for those kids who don’t have the money and want to try out this sport. I am looking forward for becoming a greater person by earning new skills in the process of this project.
