The Guide Book
Oh, the good old guide book, the book that tells you what to do. Most of you when starting a project you would read the guide book. Well, I didn't! This week for CAS I read the guidebook for the Wharton Investment Competition. It was very helpful as I now know what I need to do. Apparently, there is a case study, I need an investment strategy and there is a small list of approved stocks. This would have been helpful to know at the beginning of the competition. Alright now that I have gone over my pure ignorance let's talk about what I learned. From this, I now have a clearer way to approach this project and have a more general goal that I am working for. This new direction that I am going in feels much more stable and I feel like I now have a better path that can help me reach my goal of teaching people how to live a financially stable life where they can make more money off of investing. What are the next steps? The next steps include going to the Webinars hosted by the event, creating a more stable investment strategy, and truly controlling my group helping us become more successful. This week was very helpful as a step back that allowed me to understand more about what I was doing and will help me make my next steps forward more effective and much more helpful for me to meet my main goal.
