When I first began CAS I was overwhelmed by the hours that had to be put in. I was concerned with the 50 something journal entries and overall the experience made me feel lazy to even start.
Looking back 18 months ago, I am now eternally grateful for both of my CAS projects. My 3v3 tournaments were an excellent start and I am glad that I was able to raise enough money for new basketball team uniforms. When Covid-19 hit I was once again concerned I never wanted to start over yet the project that awaited me was an exciting new chapter that I learned more about myself and new social skills than I did teaching others. I was able to create many friendships and bonds with my community and teammates.
