Update: The Little Book That Beats the Market by Pat Dorsey
The Little Book That Beats the Market by Pat Dorsey
Hello, this week I started to read a book about Stock Market Investment called "The Little book that beats the market" by Pat Dorsey. This book was recommended to me by one of the new La Paz parents Duncan Simmons. This was the first step for me when it comes to preparing for my project. This for me is starting the educational process of this CAS project. As one of my main goals for this project being myself really being able to learn about the stock market, this is very essential to that process. This book will allow me to learn about investing in the stock market. Initiating/activating my ability to start this CAS project and gain credentials to teach others. From the begging of this project, I have realized that one thing hindering my ability to do this project was my own knowledge. I plan for this book to allow me to grow in places of knowledge that I lack. The first two chapters of this book were really cool because of the simplicity of the book. It is super easy to understand yet still explains concepts that took me a decent amount of time to learn myself. This book represents my commitment and perseverance to the project as I in reality don't enjoy reading but this has shown me how reading something that you are passionate about can really be enjoyable. Although this book is what I did in class today this week is also really important as it marks the begging of my project. This Friday will be my first class and the first time I will test the practice of this theory I have built up. The anxiety is there but I am truly excited about this project and truly hope this will be successful and something I can do for 18 months or more. Hopefully, this week's class will show that I have mastered the ability to initiate a plan for my CAS experience.
