The shift

For this last week I had a lot of motivation to start my sewing, I wanted to get the shift done as quickly as possible so I could start on the actual dress. I watched a lot of other historical sewing videos to motivate myself even more. I didn’t get as far as I’d hoped, I wanted to have finished it by the end of this week, but I made a mistake from not paying attention to what I was doing since I tried to go as quickly as possible and I had to redo a part of it. I plan on finishing it before the end of this week so I think everything is going well.

I have not spoken with my mentor yet, I am going to once I finish my shift. The shift is fairly simple and I can do that part myself, but what I need help with is the outerwear, which would be the dress. I haven’t interacted with her yet, but I plan to later on this week so we can figure out a schedule that works for both of us.
