The shift part two

This week went really well, I used a seam ripper to make holes in the shift for the sleeves and I sewed the sleeves to it. I had to try it on a couple of times with pins before sewing to make sure everything went well. I did contact my mentor but we haven't met yet since I just recently finished the shift. I think we are going to meet this week though which I'm excited for. It doesn't look like much yet, but that's because it goes under the actual dress. I learned that I need to be a lot more careful when lining things up because I messed up a couple of times which meant I had to restart.
