True Colors Journal Entry

My color I got was blue which I think really explains my need to be genuine and to always have kind and meaningful relationships with others. One thing I took away from this experience is that being with your same color in a group is comfortable and working with other colors can be hard. But working with other colors gives a more diverse set of ideas and values to contribute to the work. As a group, blue is good at communicating and listening to each other’s ideas, as well as managing the group to make sure everyone is working together. I think the complementary color to the blue world would ironically be orange (because that is the actual complementary color of blue) because they are more independent and leaders, but blue depends on others and I would say it has more followers. I am very excited to use my strengths in CAS as my group currently has all different colors so we can all contribute in our own ways to work collaboratively.
