Explain, what did you take away from reflecting on your own personal color style and that of others in the group?
Something big which I took away from reflecting on my own personal and other people’s color style is that many of us think are similar people and think of ourselves the same way and don’t know about it. Something which I also noticed is that many of us can tell what color each person is by just looking at the values each color represents. This shows that we know each other fairly well and that we can recognize our strengths and weaknesses between each other.
What observations can you make about the type of personal styles that we
have as a group?
An observation I can me from the different types of personal styles that we
have as a group is that we have a little bit of all of them which is why when we work together I feel like we work really well, it is because each of us has different skills that can contribute to the common goal.
Is there a complementary color to yours? Explain which one and why.
I think orange is a complementary color to my personal style because even though I was green, orange was just behind. I also feel like I represent orange pretty well as I think of myself as a pretty active and competitive person.
What are ways we can take this information into our work in class or in our CAS projects to work collaboratively in positive ways?
I think a way we can take this information is by recognizing each other’s strengths or in this case colors and applying them in future projects and in our CAS projects. This is gonna help us work better collaboratively as it is going to focus on individuals’ strengths to get a greater result in a respective project or in our CAS projects.
