True Colors Log

Explain, what did you take away from reflecting on your own personal color style and that of others in the group? I found that we all behaved pretty similarly, especially when it came to group projects or activities. I think that when a majority of the group is made of oranges, it takes a while for us to focus and get things done unless we have someone taking charge. What observations can you make about the type of personal styles that we have as a group? When we did this exercise I noticed a majority of us were orange or at least had it in the top 2, I thought that was interesting and it makes sense because our class is a very high energy class. We tend to be chaotic sometimes, but we all have fun together. There are definitely some kids who are the peacekeepers and it shows. Is there a complementary color to yours? Explain which one and why. What are ways we can take this information into our work in class or in our CAS projects to work collaboratively in positive ways? I was orange which is very chaos and fun based, I think that gold is my complementary color because they are very organized and structured. This is good to know because I work very well with gold people. They help me stay on track and get things done while I tend to goof off when I am either alone or with another orange. I want to try to keep this in mind next time I choose a partner for group projects because it can help me do better.
