For the past month, Terraza´s team has to work on planning big events to make money to further grow as a youth center. We have made sure to not spend too much money on extra services but made sure to save up and plan events to make more money for future expenses that will be very necessary for Terraza. Some of the events that had been planned were the fall event that occurred on November 8th which was pretty successful, in which a few people showed up and we made a decent amount of money. Our next big event will be the Christmas themed dodgeball which we expect is going to be huge for Terraza because our last dodgeball tournament was very successful so having this tournament have a Christmas theme will get everyone even more excited which will allow this event to be even more successful than last time. Terraza has slowly been growing over the past 6 months, we are learning to diversify our activities and find ways to improve our ways when it comes to becoming more profitable with our money. We want to find ways to manage our money more efficiently because in the past our money wasn’t spent in the best possible ways however now we are learning to save up and spend our money wisely. This is very important because we currently have a space that is very expensive, including electricity, water, and other expenses that need to be paid every month, and so it’s crucial to manage our finances appropriately in order to maintain a successful project. The team of Terraza has become a lot more organized as well when it comes to planning events, this is because we have been meeting with our team a lot more often, making sure that communication is intact as well as prioritizing the most important tasks. Meeting with the team, and assigning each team member to do a certain thing, and once this task is complete a message is sent to the Terraza group chat and then another task is assigned. This cycle is continuous and this is how we get our tasks done efficiently and on time. Terraza has been working on all these different management skills which have been progressively improving over the past few months which can be seen and reflected through our meetings, our events, and our planning strategies.
