Vacation involvement with CAS
Activity- Gym

Today I went to the gym in the morning. I enjoy waking up early and starting my day with something that allows me to feel my best, in this case, it is the gym. During vacations, I like to spend time at the gym because I get to work on myself and at the same time feel powerful and responsible for how I feel throughout the day. When I'm at the gym, I like to feel the effects of hard work and dedication. Since a young age, I have been self-conscious about my body, I felt really insecure, because of this I incorporated myself into the gym to work and better my insecurities. I started the gym journey about 3 years ago and I have never felt as good as I feel right now. I'm proud of the strong person I've become and now as a teenager, I can say that I am confident in my skin. At a young age, I was introduced to a healthy lifestyle because my mom is super healthy, but when young I never took it seriously, now I do and I feel amazing when I know that what I eat has positive effects in my body. Today in the morning, I had a lot of energy and I was able to complete my leg workout thoroughly. As a person, I learned that when we feel our greatest, we should embrace it and work upon it so that it lasts. In today's society, I noticed that many teenagers are not embracing who they are, and this is why I believe that when we wake up and have positive energy to excel the day, we shouldn't let anything or anyone ruin it. When I started to love my body and who I am as a person, everything that I did was easier because I felt great within myself and who I've become, I am not insecure anymore. When I don't exercise or do an activity during the day, I feel bad, this is why I have learned that in my day I need to have “me” time so that I can focus on myself and not others. As an individual, I noticed that I waste too much energy on others and not on myself, therefore I want to learn how to be more balanced and take that energy I use on certain people that are not good for me and take that energy and use it for more important things that will better myself. I am going through a hard journey and having an hour to myself is the best thing I could possibly do.
