What I did this trimester

In general this trimester I did a lot. The return to campus shifted my focus within CAS. Firstly I will talk about the aspect of the conference from my project and my math tutoring. This trimester math tutoring was super successful, I had one consistent student with some people flowing through. Overall I believe from the feedback I got it was successful and helped people in their math. Additionally, it served as a place and time for classmates to work together. Overall I would deem this half of my project a great success. Although the other half of my project did not go as well. I continually found myself too dependent on waiting for Allan as he is super busy and therefore ignored that part of my project during this trimester. Sadly this part was unsuccessful until the end of the trimester. When I went looking for a plan B and found my answer in plain sight. Profe Alberto will hopefully be a great help next trimester as my guest speaker, he has a good personal financial understanding especially for ticos, which is perfect for my target demographic. Overall this trimester I was unable to succeed within this project but now have a more concrete plan to have a conference next trimester. Additionally to what I did specifically in my project, I have also had other side hustles, such as basketball practice every week, and have acted as the junior Vice President for student government for the past year. Basketball was great as it allowed me to stay active and enjoy time with my friends throughout the trimester. Student government has been a great way to make concrete changes to the school by bringing a ping pong table, hosting a ping pong tournament, chess tournament, and trimester-long inter-class competition. This has been super fun and I have been honored to participate in such a great and successful student government across the last year. In summary, this trimester in CAS has been a mix of success and failure, succeeding in creating a math help club, in student government, and finding ways to stay active while failing to host budgeting and financial help conferences for the school.
