What Makes Me Excited About My Project

Why is this project important to you? This project is important to me because I love dance and I love sharing my love for dance with others. Mostly it is important to me because I get to strengthen my choreography skills and teaching skills. Additionally it feels rewarding to help kids that don’t get the same opportunities as us. Has it made you even more passionate about your project? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes it has made me more passionate about my project because it gives me drive to help others and do what I love. The seven learning outcomes of CAS that I could connect is the fourth one of showing perseverance and commitment because my passion drives my commitment and perseverance to pursue this project. What have you learned about this issue that you are solving that everyone should know? I learned we can really make a difference in our community by giving them this opportunity and bringing the joy of the arts in their life. Just a few weeks ago I went to perform for a CEPIA graduation and I saw the amazement in their eyes and it made me even more motivated to bring dance into their lives.
