Perseverance throughout this project has been a consistent quality of mine. Not only did I end up changing my original project idea, but I have had to navigate the troubles of starting a business like project in Costa Rica. I have been able to gather any specific remaining materials needed to fully construct all the skateboard decks donated, imported from the United States (where I’ve received most donations). To overcome many obstacles, I have persevered and problem solved. I have spent quite some time trying to spread the account to people all over the world, sharing the projects story in group chats, telling friends about it in my hometown inside Florida, and Costa Rica. It has been a success, with posts (like the one below) reaching huge skate brands such as Primitive.
