What time is it right now? 10:51
What are the top two choices that you are deciding to do right now? ||| Choice A: Sundance focus ||| Choice B: Continue to freelance
What are the benefits of each one? Benefits (time, energy, money, focus, fun, completion of long term goals )
Benefits of Choice A
  • Investing in future
  • Focus mainly on one thing only
  • Take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity

Benefits of Choice B
  • Moneyyyy

Which option are you going to choose? Choice A
What opportunities are you giving up by NOT choosing the other option? Or what are you now missing out on? Write down your missed opportunity:
  • Money (peace of mind)
  • Giving up a little bit of my (social-work) life
  • Breadwinner for my house
  • Bringing the train to a stop that took so long to get going

Why am I ok with missing out on that today?
  • Because it is my one opportunity. I don’t get this change again.

Remind yourself what benefits you are gaining by looking back at your answer above. Final reflection:
Was this a good choice for your goals, health or responsibilities? Yes, it is the smart and responsible decision. One might think that keeping the freelance going might be the responsible choice because it is your income… however this is an investment decision towards my future. I also need to take care of myself-- and to do that I need to slow down a second, assess, and make a change. For that I need this time, to focus, to rethink, and to switch it up.
Would you make the same choice again tomorrow? Why or why not? I would. I have to. And I should. Because it comes down to the same thing… this opportunity doesn't come around twice. It is now.
