Due to my interest in nutrition it lead me to be informed about the diabetes crisis in Costa Rica, for my CAS project I wanted to promote change through education. I recognize that not everybody has the time or resources to form healthy eating habits that’s why I want to educate individuals on how to create healthy eating habits for little to no cost. Let’s not forget knowledge is power.
