Chicks Have Feelings Too!

In my daughter’s first grade class, they have decided to hatch chicks and observe their life cycle. I immediately felt inspired to use this opportunity to offer a lesson on empathy. To provide a perspective where chickens are not a product, nor an object but a wholesome living being just like us.
