My piano teacher needs someone to compose a piece for the 25th anniversary of her piano studio, and I compose for piano, so I have decided to help her by composing this piece. The piece will be for a beginner student, so it will be quite short and simple. It will be in the key of C major. First, I will compose the piece on my piano, then write a draft. My piano teacher will help me with the rhythm and dynamics. Then I will write a final copy and hand it in.
Project Owners
Compose a short, simple beginner piece for piano in 3-4 time and in the key of C major. The melody the right hand plays may only consist of the first 5 notes in the C major scale. The left hand may play perfect fifths or single notes, but no triads.

Write a draft of the piece, then play it a few times and make any adjustments or corrections necessary. Then write a final copy of the piece, making sure to be as neat and precise as possible. That's it, all done :)
