I LOVE to dance; I have been dancing since I was around 4 years old and it has always been one of my biggest passions. I am currently attending to a dance studio here in Tamarindo, Guanacaste, I'm in the competition team and train every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Saturday. I can go hours and lose track of time while dancing, usually in dance class I lose track of time and once I look at the clock I then realized how long I've been dancing for. In general I love to exercise except for running long distances because that hurts my knees due to dance but overall I am a very active person, I always like to be doing something, but I of course leave some time to relax. Music goes along with dancing, I love to listen to music, as a dancer once I listen to a song I instantly want to dance to it. I really enjoy both and they are big parts of my life.
What I Do:
I want this project to empower children to express themselves, and to not be afraid to show their own style; at the same time I am helping their education by supporting the scholarship program with all of the funds gathered from the fashion show. I want to set an example for future generations, to show them that a CAS project doesn't necessarily have to help the community economically. We can also help them develop their creativity and mindset as I am working on doing and hopefully can complete successfully. Other things that I am looking forward on getting out of this project is independence, since I have to do everything there are offocurse people along the way that will support me and the project; but things like asking for donations, conferences, emails, phone calls, money... I have to do by myself and I think that will help me in a really positive way to interact with others, as well as help my communication skills tremendously.
What I Want:
Within some of the skills that I have there is dancing, like I explained before, I would say i'm pretty good at cooking and baking, I love to do both y grandma and my mom taught well. Another skill I think I have is organizing, I love to do it I am a very organized person in general from my bedroom to my backpack. I am also a very creative person I love to paint and do any type of craft, I am currently taking high level art for that reason.
