Flamingo Basketball Clinics

Team Name/Location

Flamingo Basketball Clinics, Flamingo Guanacaste, Costa Rica

FBC is designed to teach kids of all ages how to play the game with a team-first attitude and competitive edge in a fun, energetic basketball environment. We are very proud that we have introduced so many children to the game of basketball and built a program that helps them set goals, work hard and achieve success both on and off the court.

What I like:
Two things that give me the kick in the pants needed to keep going are literature and music. The beauty of being able to let oneself exhibit their whole lives, stories, and perspectives through words or auditorial pleasures fascinates me.
What I Do:
I fell in love with the art of combining music and literature with songwriting. The ability to utilize rhythm and structures of rhyme to tell stories through lyrics has become a defining factor in my journey to self-identity. I've been practicing the science of breaking down words, their rhymes, and their ability to fluidly tell narratives whilst sounding enjoyable to the ear for multiple years now, and I am extremely proud of where I have come and my abilities.
What I Want:
I would love for the Coffee House to be used to share the concept of the criticality of self-expression on self. Music, literature, and my own writing have had a lasting impact on me and I would want nothing more than for those around me to be given a similar influence through their own desires and passions. Coffee House will be there for those artistically inclined to convey themselves to an audience of like-minded individuals.
