The Wonderment Community Maker Bus is designed to be a mobile center where kids in Salt Lake City refugee communities can access creative technology, make connections and share what they create with kids around the world. It pulls up fully stocked with an array of tools for kids to make, connect, share, and celebrate; kids have access to resources that allow them to bring whatever they dream up into the real world. The Maker Bus is powered by The Wonderment, our innovative worldwide social media platform where kids can share their creativity with each other around the world and use it to make the world a better place.
We are obsessed with community building--searching out and connecting the creative people to make the places we live safer, more beautiful, and more welcoming to all.
What I Do:
As a team, we can write, photograph, film, design, program, and teach. We can also golf a little, rollerblade to some extent, play baseball semi-professionally.
What I Want:
All young people, no matter their language, culture, or background, deserve a community where they feel welcome--where they know they BELONG. We want to make welcoming, creative spaces where kids can come together as a community.
