To create a surf club to bring the community together and teach children to surf. To offer them a space to come and have fun and enjoy themselves. This club would also teach kids about ocean awareness and conservation. This club is here to help enrich the Avellanas surfing community.
I love surfing. I grew up on the beach. The waves, the sand, the salt, the ocean is my home. There is nothing that makes me feel happier. Being out on the ocean sitting peacefully is what brings me joy. I love the feeling I get when I catch a great wave or when I totally wipe out, it's such a rush and there's nothing like it for me. Surfing has brought so many good things into my life, and it has taught me so much. Growing up on the beach in Avellanas has shaped my life is so many ways. I have always felt a very deep connection to the ocean, it has always been my home, my happy place. The place I think about when everything is going wrong. It has filled my life with great things and I am so unbelievably thankful for it. I not only love surfing but I really enjoy any activity that has the ocean or beach involved. I love sailing out at sea, swimming in the white wash or the warm lagoons, surfing the waves, or fishing with friends. Another activity I really enjoy is art. I love painting and getting creative. I love to express myself with bright, powerful, vivid colors. I also use art as a way to calm myself and find relaxation.
What I Do:
A few skills I think I have acquired are that I have a strong sense of my morals/principles, I know what is true to me and what I stand for. I'm a very loyal and optimistic person and I try to see or make the best out of everything. I have also acquired strengths in risk taking because I'm always trying to find new opportunities, take advantage of situations and I use creative/strategic thinking. I am also well organized, self disciplined, a self motivator, I work well with others and have good time management.
What I Want:
I want to inspire others. I want to share my passion and love for surfing. I want to help kids have incredible and unforgettable experiences. I want to learn more about surfing and the surf culture/history, and be able to share and teach it to my community. I want to enrich the Avellanas surf community. I want to teach adults and children about ocean awareness and how we should protect and save our lovely aquatic ecosystem. I want to show others why we should care about the ocean. I want to bring my community together through the passion of surfing and the ocean. I want to be able to make my little surf community grow together.
