The Terraza Youth Center aims at exposing the youth of Costa Rica by offering cultural experiences through activities, meaningful engagements and games that will enrich the diversity of the community and allowing teenagers to be themselves.
I like to bake for fun, I also like playing tennis and swimming in the ocean. The reason why I like these three things, is because they are so different and it allows me to have variety between the activities I do. The reason why I enjoy baking is because I like feeling accomplished once I have made something deleicious and being able to eat it with pleasure. I like playing tennis because I have to be active and focus on the ball, I like swimming because on a sunny day when it's hot, it's so refreshing and cooling to go into the ocean.
What I Do:
I want to better my communication, teamwork and proffessional development for my future. This project will help do this by working with my peers, kids and business owners, It will widen my perspective on certain things and will allow me to grow as an individual. I will feel like I will influence people to want to do the same and be seen along with my teamembers as role models to the community.
What I Want:
I think a skill I have is creativity. The reason why is because I like making things look organized, neat and pretty, during projects and school work, I also think I am pretty athletic because I like to do sports to stay in shape. For my last skill, I think I am committes to things I do, when I start something I want to finish it, and if I don't It will make me stressed out and perform poorly on other things, I like getting things done in the proper way.
