A Trip to Mars?

I believe that a trip to mars would take far less than one year round trip. Not only would a trip like that need a lot of preparation for such a long journey but it would be very difficult for the crew as well, so we would have to wait until we have technology capable of taking us this far this fast. I think that the length of spaceflight would have an affect on astronauts eventually but especially on the journey home because they will be at the end of a long task having lasted most likely some amount of years. I would definitely want to take on this challenge. By the time I would even be able to be an astronaut I think that our technology will be a lot better and be able to take astronauts to Mars a lot quicker so it would be fun and a great accomplishment in history.
