Approaching Fear

I have had my share of scary experiences and I am most definitely afraid of heights. About year ago I was at Knott’s Berry Farm with my family, and I really didn’t want to do anything there as it all looked quite scary, it took a while but my mom convinced me to go on the log ride with her. It was alright for the first part, and my mom said that there was a drop at the end, but she didn’t tell me about the drop in the middle, so that freaked me out. I faced my fear, and I am still very afraid, but I did it. My dad convinced me to get on the slowest and least scar rollercoaster there, and I somehow went, I guess I didn’t remember how terrible the log ride was, the rollercoaster was way more terrifying but now I can say that I have ridden a rollercoaster, and I absolutely hated it. What I think is that you just have to get the courage to face your fear, and once you do you can say that you have done it, no one says that you have to keep doing it.
