By definition, our organs are alive. According to the Merriam-webster definition of “: having life: not dead or inanimate”, our organs are living. The organs of a living person are not dead nor are they inanimate. An organ grown in a lab would be just as alive as any other organ. I would consider the bacteria inside us as part of us because we can not live without them. Not only that, but they are living as well, so I believe that they are a living part of us. I believe that since all of our cells are eventually replaced, we do not keep the same body our entire life.
