Are we alone?

With humanities intelligence we can put much pondering to use. I believe that one day we may be able to find life out in space once we get the right technology. It may take a long time but it’s a possibility. I’m not sure how to feel that we may not be alone. It could be really cool to find other life forms. There may be a mutual benefit to learn about each other’s species. If we are alone then we should take care of our planet. If we aren’t alone then we should find a way to preserve our planet so other creatures may inhabit it one day in the future. It all started with us and we may not want it to end with us. If our planet is failing, then it is our fault and we should fix it.
