Are We Alone?

I think that we cannot be entirely alone. The universe is very large, and as the video stated, there could be more life out there, just very far away. The video pointed out that human beings are a special kind of life on Earth because we “seek meaning”. I think that this means that humans are intelligent enough to find, communicate, and cooperate with other types of life on other planets. When I think about the universe being empty of all other life, I feel a little disappointed. I think that there should be more life out there, or that it would at least be interesting to find some. The possibility of life somewhere other than Earth gives me a desire to learn about that other life. I think that the possibility of life on other planets should make humans want to give a good impression to this life, if it can be impressed. It should make us more conscious of things like mining on the moon or transporting garbage into space.
