ARE WE ALONE?

We live on a very rare planet that is able to sustain life, and it is not only able to sustain it, but it is able to give its inhabitants comfort. If we look into space we can see so many stars that also have their own planets, and past that there are even more stars, it seems to be endless, with many galaxies out there, possibly an infinite number. If there is an infinite number of galaxies, or not even infinite but a number that would take seemingly forever to count to, would you not think that there would be other lifeforms of some kind? It is very possible that we are the most intelligent lifeform in all of existence, but it would be crazy if no one else was out there. If we are the only intelligent pieces then that is okay with me, I am comfortable here and I don’t see a need to make contact with another type of lifeform.
