Backyard Design
I tested my PH level of my garden by using vinegar to see if it bobbled up. It was a PH of 7. Harmful bugs are all over my garden because we sprayed for spiders. Bugs like slugs, potato bugs, flies, and earwigs.
I designed my garden thinking of beneficial bugs, insects, flowers, and companion gardening and water use.
Water wise black eye Susan in Utah attracts bees.
Attract Bees with Tansy flowers that also help repel potato bugs that hurt tomato and potato plants. Both like sun and shade.
Attract Ground Beetles with Evening Promise to repel slugs that hurt strawberries. Attract Bees with sage too.
Attract Bees with Catnip helps get rid of squash bugs that hurt pumpkins,
Attract Lady bugs with Marigolds flowers to repel insects that feed on cucumbers or corn.
Companion Planting with corn, and cucumbers together, both like the sun with a PH of 5 to 7.
Attract ground beetles by planting parsley and green onion to get rid of vegetable weevil larvae and carrot fly. All do well with a PH of 6, and both like loose soil.
I also made a bee bath to attract bees, and plan to have a water pond too.

This is amazing!! What program did you use to make the design? Awesome attention to details and knowing which plants will do different services in your garden (like which plants repel/attract insects). Great job!
